Oil-Based Vanilla Cake

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup lukewarm water or milk
  • Vanilla extract (for flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking pan with cooking spray and lightly dust with flour. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder. Set aside.
  3. In another large bowl, whisk the eggs thoroughly. Add the sugar and vegetable oil, and mix for about 2 minutes until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, alternating with the lukewarm water or milk. Continue mixing until smooth. Add vanilla extract to taste.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, decorate as desired.
