Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

Ingredients

For the Chicken Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

Prepare the Chicken Wings:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or placed on a wire rack.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.

Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  1. While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until fully melted and the sauce has thickened.
  5. Stir in the Dijon mustard and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Coat the Wings:

  1. Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl.
  2. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss to ensure they are evenly coated.

Serve:

  1. Transfer the coated wings to a serving platter.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with any remaining sauce on the side.
