Ingredients

  • 12 slices of mozzarella or provolone cheese, or 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 12 slices pepperoni, cut into quarters (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (if required).
  2. Prepare the Bread: Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise to make two long pieces, then cut each piece in half to yield four pieces total.
  3. Season: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, oregano, and garlic powder. Using a pastry brush, coat the cut side of each bread piece evenly with the mixture.
  4. Toast the Bread: Place the bread pieces in the air fryer basket or tray. Cook at 370°F for 3 minutes to lightly toast the bread.
  5. Assemble the Pizza: Remove the bread from the air fryer. Spread pizza sauce evenly on each piece, then top with cheese slices. Add pepperoni or any other preferred toppings.
  6. Cook the Pizza: Place the assembled pizzas back in the air fryer and cook at 370°F for 5-6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
