Rich Chocolate Fudge Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan:

    Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil, ensuring the foil extends over the edges for easy removal. Lightly grease the foil with butter or nonstick spray.

  2. Melt the Ingredients:

    In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate is melted and the mixture becomes smooth and glossy.

  3. Add Vanilla and Salt:

    Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until fully incorporated.

  4. Pour into Pan:

    Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly, ensuring a smooth top.

  5. Chill the Fudge:

    Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours until it sets and becomes firm.

  6. Cut into Squares:

    Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the edges of the foil. Peel away the foil and transfer the fudge onto a cutting board. Cut into small squares using a sharp knife.

  7. Serve and Store:
