- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 green onions, sliced (green parts only)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
Place the peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain and mash thoroughly.
Add heavy cream, sour cream, salt, and pepper to the mashed potatoes, mixing until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the shredded cheddar, mozzarella, crumbled bacon, and sliced green onions. -
Bake the Loaded Mashed Potatoes:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the cheesy mashed potatoes into a greased baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly. -
Cook the Chicken & Steak:
In a mixing bowl, season the cubed chicken and steak with minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken and steak cubes for 4-5 minutes per side, ensuring they are cooked through and have a golden-brown crust. -
Assemble & Serve:
Place a generous portion of the cheesy loaded mashed potatoes on each plate. Top with the garlic Parmesan chicken and steak bites. Garnish with fresh parsley for a final touch of flavor and presentation.
Tips for Success
- Meat Selection: Ensure the chicken and steak are cut into uniform-sized cubes for even cooking.
- Cheese Variations: Experiment with different cheese blends, such as Gruyère or Monterey Jack, for a unique twist.
- Extra Flavor: Add a splash of white wine or chicken broth to the skillet when searing the meat for added depth of flavor.
