Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta Recipe

Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta Recipe
A creamy and flavorful dinner delight!
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
 - 1 tsp garlic powder
 - 1 tsp onion powder
 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
 - 4 cups chicken broth
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
 - 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
 - 12 oz penne pasta or any short pasta
 - ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
 - Salt and pepper, to taste
 - Fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions
- Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot. Season generously with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
 - Add Broth and Cream: Pour the chicken broth and heavy cream over the chicken. Add the cubed cream cheese.
 - Cook the Chicken: Cover the crockpot and cook:
- On low for 4–6 hours
 - Or on high for 2–3 hours, until the chicken is tender.

 - Shred the Chicken: Remove the chicken and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot.
 - Cook the Pasta: Stir the uncooked pasta into the crockpot, ensuring it’s well-coated in the sauce. Cover and cook on high for another 20–30 minutes, or until the pasta is tender. Stir occasionally.
 - Finish with Cheese: Add the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese. Stir until the cheeses melt and the sauce becomes creamy.
 - Serve and Garnish: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.

Tips for Success
– Use pasta shapes that hold sauce well, like penne or rotini.
– For extra flavor, sear the chicken before placing it in the crockpot.
– Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick!
