Chocolate Cake with Passion Fruit Mousse

Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Cake Preparation Method:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, melted butter, and milk. Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the wheat flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder to the wet mixture. Stir until smooth and free of lumps.
- Grease a cake mold with butter and pour the batter into it.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Chocolate Syrup:
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Syrup Preparation Method:
- In a small saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and cocoa powder.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Drizzle the chocolate syrup evenly over the warm cake to soak.
Mousse Ingredients:
- 1 cup concentrated passion fruit juice
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1/2 small box of cream
- 1 cup powdered milk
Mousse Preparation Method:
- In a blender, combine the passion fruit juice, condensed milk, cream, and powdered milk.
- Blend until the mixture is very creamy and smooth.
- Pour the mousse over the cooled, syrup-soaked cake.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow the mousse to set.
- Serve chilled and enjoy the delightful combination of chocolate and passion fruit.
