  1. Begin by grating the potatoes. Place them in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze thoroughly to remove any excess moisture.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes and finely chopped onion.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, then incorporate the flour, salt, and pepper, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Gently fold the egg mixture into the potatoes and onions, ensuring the ingredients are evenly distributed.
