Heavenly Pineapple Cheeseball

Heavenly Pineapple Cheeseball

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 can of crushed pineapple, thoroughly drained
  • ½ cup of finely chopped green onions
  • ½ cup of finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 cups of finely chopped pecans
  • Assorted crackers for serving

Preparation:

Step 1:

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency.

Step 2:

Gently fold in the drained pineapple, green onions, and bell pepper. Add the seasoning salt and lemon pepper, mixing until all ingredients are evenly combined. Then, stir in ½ cup of the chopped pecans.

Step 3:

Transfer the cheese mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Using the wrap, shape the mixture into a ball. Seal it tightly and refrigerate overnight to allow the flavors to meld.

Step 4:

Before serving, roll the cheeseball in the remaining chopped pecans to create a crunchy outer layer. Place it in the center of a serving plate and surround it with an assortment of crackers.
