Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 cups cooked, chopped chicken (or canned chicken)
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 2 tablespoons Ranch dressing mix
- 1/4 cup cooked, chopped bacon
- 1 (12 oz) can refrigerator Grands Jr. Biscuits
- 1 additional cup of grated cheese for topping
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
- Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the chopped chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of grated cheese, Ranch dressing mix, and chopped bacon. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Cut the Biscuits: Open the can of biscuits and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Gently toss the biscuit pieces with the chicken mixture until they are evenly distributed.
- Assemble the Casserole: Pour the chicken and biscuit mixture into the prepared baking pan. Spread it out evenly, then sprinkle the remaining cup of grated cheese on top.
- Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25–35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the biscuits are golden brown.
Additional Tips:
If you prefer a less “doughy” texture for the biscuits, you can layer the chicken mixture on the bottom of the dish and place the biscuit pieces on top before baking.
Canned chicken works well in this recipe, but you can also use freshly cooked chicken if preferred. Homemade biscuits can also be used if you’d like to make this a pantry-friendly dish.
This easy-to-make, hearty casserole is perfect for a family meal, combining creamy, savory flavors with the satisfying texture of biscuits. Enjoy!
