Chocolate Wafer with Cream
Ingredients:
- 3 large eggs
- 180g granulated sugar
- 200g dark chocolate
- 200g heavy cream
- 250g all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (approximately 11g) of baking powder
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together using an electric mixer for about 3 minutes, until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate using a bain-marie (double boiler) method. Once fully melted, set it aside to cool for a few minutes.
- Gradually incorporate the melted chocolate into the egg mixture, ensuring it is well-blended.
- Add the heavy cream to the mixture, stirring until fully combined.
- Sift the flour and baking powder together, then gradually fold them into the mixture. Whisk thoroughly until the batter is smooth and even.
- Pour the batter into a prepared baking mold.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the wafer to cool before serving.
