Ham and Cheese Sticks

Crescent Rolls with Ham and Melted Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 2 tubes croissant dough sheets
  • 1 lb. sliced deli ham
  • 8 sticks cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped onion or onion powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon poppy seeds

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet by either greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Dough: Unroll the croissant dough sheets and cut each into 4 pieces, resulting in 8 pieces total.
  3. Assemble the Sticks: Divide the sliced ham evenly among the 8 pieces of dough. Place a stick of cheddar cheese on top of the ham on each piece. Fold in the ends of each piece and roll them to seal.
  4. Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the prepared sticks on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, chopped onion (or onion powder), and poppy seeds.
  6. Apply the Glaze: Brush the butter mixture over each stick.
  7. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the sticks are golden brown.
  8. Serve: Enjoy your ham and cheese sticks warm and fresh from the oven!

Cook Time: 15 minutes
