Crispy Butter Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Ritz cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6 ounces each)
  • 1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the beaten eggs and cracker crumbs into two separate shallow bowls.
  3. Mix the cracker crumbs with garlic salt and black pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then dredge it in the crumb mixture until well coated.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Distribute the butter pieces evenly on top of the chicken breasts.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked.
