Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of frozen meatballs, defrosted
  • 1 jar of marinara or spaghetti sauce
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 box of bowtie pasta
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a deep, oven-safe pot or skillet, combine the meatballs, marinara sauce, water, pasta, and Italian seasoning. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  3. Cover the dish tightly and bake for 35 minutes.
  4. Remove the cover, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the top, and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Let the casserole sit for about 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
