Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 bag of frozen meatballs, defrosted
- 1 jar of marinara or spaghetti sauce
- 3 cups of water
- 1 box of bowtie pasta
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a deep, oven-safe pot or skillet, combine the meatballs, marinara sauce, water, pasta, and Italian seasoning. Stir until everything is well mixed.
- Cover the dish tightly and bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove the cover, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the top, and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the casserole sit for about 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
