Fluffy Cloud Cake

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 16 grams of baking powder
  • 200 grams (about half a cup) of caster sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 55 grams (approximately one cup) of yogurt
  • Vanilla essence

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F) and grease a 22 cm baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, vanilla essence, cornstarch, eggs, baking powder, oil, caster sugar, flour, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Using a high-speed mixer, blend the mixture for about three minutes until the batter is smooth and well-combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until the cake is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing it from the oven to cool completely.
