- 3 packages of cornbread mix (plus ingredients per package instructions)
- 10 cups of shredded bread
- 1 1/2 cups diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 2 large hard-boiled eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons rubbed sage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 cans of chicken broth (14.5 oz each)
- 1/2 cup turkey broth
Instructions:
- Prepare the Cornbread: Follow the package instructions to bake the cornbread. Once baked, allow it to cool, then crumble the cornbread into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the Bread: Add the shredded bread to the crumbled cornbread in the bowl.
- Cook the Vegetables: In a pan, sauté the diced onions and celery until they are soft and translucent. This typically takes about 5-7 minutes.
