Hamburger Casserole Recipe

Hamburger Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 box (1 lb) medium pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cans (10 oz each) tomato soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Garlic, salt, and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large skillet, brown and crumble the ground beef over medium heat. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper (or your preferred seasonings).
  4. Add the cooked pasta, tomato soup, 1/2 cup of water, and half of the shredded cheese to the skillet with the browned beef. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes. For a crispy top, you may turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
