Dutch Apple Bread

Dutch Apple Bread
Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
 - 2 tsp butter
 - 3 cups flour
 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
 - 1/2 tsp salt
 - 2 tsp yeast
 - 1/2 cup diced apple (peeled)
 - 1/3 cup walnuts or crushed walnuts
 
Instructions:
- 
            Prepare the Yeast Mixture:
- In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of warm water with 1 teaspoon of sugar.
 - Add the yeast to the warm water and let it sit for 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
 
 - 
            Mix the Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, butter, and the remaining 1/2 cup of water.
 - Knead the ingredients together until well incorporated.
 
 - 
            Activate the Yeast:
- Once the yeast is activated, add it to the dough mixture.
 - Knead the dough until it is smooth. Adjust the consistency with additional water if needed.
 
 - 
            Prepare the Apple and Nut Mixture:
- In a separate bowl, mix together the diced apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and walnuts.
 - Allow the mixture to sit for half an hour to let the flavors meld.
 
 - 
            Combine Mixtures:
- After the resting period, combine the apple and nut mixture with the dough, ensuring even distribution.
 
 - 
            Prepare for Baking:
- Grease a bread mold with oil and transfer the dough into the mold.
 
 - 
            Bake:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
 - Bake the bread for approximately 40 minutes or until it is golden brown and cooked through.
 
 -
