Not Yo’ Mama’s Banana Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen Cookies or 2 bags Vanilla Wafers
  • 6 to 8 bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 (5 oz.) box instant French Vanilla pudding
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed, or an equivalent amount of sweetened whipped cream

Directions:

  1. Line the bottom of a 13×9 inch dish with one bag of cookies. Arrange a layer of sliced bananas on top.
  2. In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix. Blend well using a handheld electric mixer.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture, then add this combined mixture to the pudding mixture. Stir until well blended.
  5. Pour the pudding mixture over the cookies and bananas, then top with the remaining cookies.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
