Oil-Based Vanilla Cake
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup lukewarm water or milk
- Vanilla extract (for flavor)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your baking pan with cooking spray and lightly dust with flour. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder. Set aside.
- In another large bowl, whisk the eggs thoroughly. Add the sugar and vegetable oil, and mix for about 2 minutes until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, alternating with the lukewarm water or milk. Continue mixing until smooth. Add vanilla extract to taste.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, decorate as desired.
