  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg white

For the glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Roll out one can of crescent rolls and press the dough into the bottom of the dish, pinching the seams together to create a smooth layer.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg. Beat until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Spread this evenly over the crescent roll layer.
  4. Roll out the second can of crescent rolls and carefully lay it over the cream cheese layer. Press the edges gently to seal.
  5. Brush the top layer with egg white to achieve a glossy, golden-brown crust. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and set. Let the Danish cool slightly.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Drizzle the glaze generously over the Danish.
