Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:

Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by greasing and flouring it.

Prepare the Cake Batter:
