Quick and Easy Apple Fritters Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 apple
- 1 whole egg
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- Vanilla sugar (to taste)
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch fine salt
- 200g natural yogurt
- 50ml milk
- 350g cake flour
- 7g baking powder
- A dash of cinnamon powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
Prepare the Batter:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, granulated sugar, vanilla sugar, extra virgin olive oil, salt, natural yogurt, and milk. Mix well until smooth.
- Gradually add the cake flour and baking powder into the mixture, stirring until you have a smooth batter. If the batter is too thick, add a little more milk to adjust the consistency.
Prepare the Apple:
- Wash the apple thoroughly and remove the core. Cut the apple into thin slices or small chunks, as per your preference.
Coat the Apple Slices:
- Dip each apple slice or chunk into the batter, ensuring it’s well-coated on all sides.
Fry the Fritters:
- Heat some frying oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the coated apple slices into the pan, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
- Fry the apple fritters for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
- Once fried, remove the apple fritters from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
- Sprinkle some cinnamon powder over the fritters for extra flavor.
- Serve the apple fritters warm with a side of yogurt dip.

Prepare a simple yogurt dip by mixing some natural yogurt with a pinch of cinnamon and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, according to your taste preferences.
