- 1–2 tbsp olive oil (if needed)
Instructions
- Brown the Beef: In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add Aromatics: Add diced onions and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Add Vegetables: Stir in potatoes, carrots, and celery.
- Add Liquids & Seasoning: Add beef broth, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, paprika, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 35–45 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
- Add Peas: Stir in frozen peas during the last 5 minutes.
- Taste & Adjust: Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve: Remove bay leaf and serve hot.
