Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onions and garlic to the pot, cooking until softened and fragrant.
  3. Stir in diced bell peppers, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Pour in crushed tomatoes, broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Add the uncooked rice to the pot. Cover and simmer for another 15–20 minutes, or until the rice is tender. Stir occasionally.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
