Caramel Cream Cheese Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup (2 sticks) of unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese, room temperature
- 4 eggs, room temperature
- 1/2 cup caramel topping
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat Your Oven: Set your oven to 350º F (175º C) and prepare two 9×5-inch loaf pans by lightly greasing them with butter or non-stick spray.
- Cream the Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl or with a stand mixer, combine the butter, cream cheese, and sugar. Beat the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy. Gradually add the eggs one at a time, making sure to mix well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Ensure that these dry ingredients are well combined.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir until just combined, making sure not to overmix.
- Layer the Batter and Caramel: Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared loaf pans, pouring approximately 1/4 of the batter into each pan. Spoon 1/4 cup of caramel topping over the batter in each pan, then gently swirl the caramel with a knife, being careful to keep it away from the edges.
- Add the Remaining Batter: Pour the remaining batter over the caramel layers in both pans, ensuring the caramel is fully covered.
- Bake: Place the pans in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaves comes out clean.
- Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pans before serving. Enjoy your delicious Caramel Cream Cheese Bread!
