Crispy Air Fryer Golden Chicken Delight
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chicken pieces (legs, thighs, breasts)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for added heat)

Directions:
- Marinate the Chicken: Submerge the chicken pieces in buttermilk and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to tenderize and flavor.
- Prepare the Coating: In a large bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
- Coat the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Dredge each piece thoroughly in the flour mixture, ensuring even coverage.
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (199°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Air Fry the Chicken: Arrange the chicken pieces in the basket without overcrowding. Lightly spray the top of the chicken with cooking spray. Cook for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Serve: Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your perfectly crispy and juicy air-fried chicken!
