Lime Mousse Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (approximately 4-5 limes)
  • Zest of 2 limes
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin powder
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • Optional: extra lime zest for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Gelatin:

Sprinkle the gelatin powder over cold water in a small bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom. Microwave the gelatin for 10-15 seconds until fully dissolved.

2. Combine the Ingredients:

In a blender, mix the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, lime juice, lime zest, and the dissolved gelatin. Blend until the mixture is smooth and thoroughly combined.

3. Chill the Mousse:

Pour the mixture into individual serving glasses or a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the mousse is set.

4. Serve:

Garnish with additional lime zest if desired before serving. Savor your refreshing Lime Mousse!
