Maid-Rite Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 small white onion, minced
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 12 pack slider buns
- 1/3 cup dill pickle slices
- 6 slices American cheese
For the Butter Sauce
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and minced onion until the beef is browned and crumbled.
- Drain any excess grease from the skillet. Add the beef bouillon cube, water, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated.
- Arrange the bottoms of the slider buns in a baking dish. Spoon the beef mixture evenly over the buns. Place dill pickle slices on top of the beef, followed by the American cheese slices. Cover with the tops of the buns.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes, or until the sliders are heated through and the cheese is melted.
- Serve and enjoy your delicious Maid-Rite Sliders!
