Sliced Baked Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium Russet potatoes
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp black pepper
  • ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ⅛ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp paprika
  • 4 to 6 tbsp olive oil

Preparation:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly.
  3. Slice the potatoes horizontally, ensuring not to cut all the way through. For added crispiness, you may slice at a slight angle.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  5. Lightly spritz the potatoes with olive oil.
  6. Evenly sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the potatoes.
  7. Arrange the potatoes on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  8. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.
