Succulent Sirloin Steaks with Garlic Butter and Roasted Potatoes
Succulent Sirloin Steaks with Garlic Butter and Roasted Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 4 sirloin steaks, approximately 1 inch thick
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 lbs baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Season the sirloin steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
- In a large bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread the potatoes evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Stir in the butter until it melts and blends with the garlic.
- Transfer the cooked steaks to a serving platter and drizzle with the garlic butter.
- Serve the steaks alongside the roasted potatoes, garnished with chopped parsley.
